Hey kids!

    So, it feels like its been decades since I last updated this thing. I am extremely surious to find out who actually still uses xanga and who doesn't.

Hmmmmm, I suppose life updates are in order since its been so long. Let's see, Joseph and I celebrated our 1 yr. wedding anniversary in March. Also, I decided I hate car shopping! Huge ordeal this last month just trying to switch out my truck for a Honda CRV. So yeah, still working on that one. Ummmmm, Still adamantley against this whole procreating thing. Still in an apartment, looking for a house....... Uhhhh yeah, that's all I can think of. Oooooo! I started a new story! I'm actually very excitedly adimant about this one! So yeah, if you want to contribute to my novel just let me know if you would like to be a character I kill off : ) Trust me, it'll be funny. Oh, and I totally have a Facebook page, that's why I'm not on here anymore. So yeah, I think that's all. Hope everyone's doing well!

So, I know it's been awhile and all, but I will say that this update is a warning for others.

When putting up a pre-lit Christmas, and you happen to notice the tip top of the tree is out, never EVER start poking around where you can not see.

I was checking for a lightbulb that may have fallen out (because that's what the problem was when I first put it up) and when I found a spot that looked suspicious I started tapping the outlet, and of course, there was a broken lightbulb in that socket. Let's just say that that was the nastiest shock ever. Not just a tingly, "wow that was a shock" kind of things, more of a "Oh God, I think my heart just stopped". That was my day.

Do you feel old when...?

Do you feel old when you mention how you miss the old Butterfinger commercials with Bart Simpson amd younger people look at you lik "What Bart Simpson commercials?" or they say "Oh, I think I saw that on You Tube last week!" ?

Or do you feel old when start talking about the declining integrity of entertainment today versus the good old days of classy movies and educational shows? Like the old Muppets and Sesame Street, or just a heck of a lot less crude humor?

And how about Overalls?! Dang, those were so 90's! Why are they back?!

Ok, but seriously now I know I'm only turning 22 this month, but I feel so old when I start those conversations! Oh, and on a side note what ever happened to Snuffalupagus from Sesame Street? He was my absolute favourite, but now it's all about Elmo. *Sigh*

    And here's a thought for those of you growing older (sorry mom, you can't deny it forever : P ): When you were a kid and you were trying to figure out what kind of person you wanted to be when you were a grown up, by either finding things you liked in your heros or knowing you would never do 'this' or 'that' because of how someone treated you. (ok, first of all I know that was a run on sentence. Second, this is the part where you sit and ponder the previously asked question....... are you pondering?...... Ok good) Now that you've pondered that and made a quick list in your head, are you any of those things? Have you become the person you wanted to be? Just curious.

In Memory of...

I would like to dedicate this xanga update to my dog Little Dude. Yes, I know the name is silly, blame it on my brother. After having my fat, little white dog for 12 years, he was euthanized today. We found out this morning that he had Limphoma, a type of cancer. My mom and I were the first to find out since we took him to the cancer specialist this afternoon. He came back positive and our only optionss were chemo, which was going to be about $3,000, try to prolong his suffering for a little bit with only one med that would last at most 2 months, or put him to sleep. We decided to put him down since he was having trouble breathing and even moving. We all loved him very much and are sad to see him go.

Oh, and if anyone puts any mean comments about him on this entry, SETH! Then I will personally hunt you down and kill you slowly. Very slowly.

Life is in a better place now...

Hey guys, I know it's been awhile since there's been a real update so here goes!

-I now, officially, have my Associates in English Diploma (sitting on one of my bookshelves)

-Joseph and I have been married for nearly 4 months and we haven't killed eacother : ) But I will say dividing up the chore list is always fun....

-I am pet sitting a goldfish and cat for Sara while she's out having fun at the fiestas. Oh, how I want to go back again!

-Kedrick is coming home!!! So excited!

-Boomer is home! And is leaving in only a smidge-bit : ( But he's too crazy to get blown up or anything in Iraq so I'm not too worried.

-Miah is headed out to Iraq again soon, but again, I'm not worried, he'll be in a cushy office. : )

-Oh, and I got a new job! Yay!!!! Saturday (today now I guess) is my last day at James Avery. I am so excited that I never have to work a Saturday, Sunday, or Friday night again! Well, except if I go to confrences through my new work, but that's only 5 times a year. Oh, and I am now a receptionist in my chiropraters office. I love my new job. and I get to have purple hair if I want!

-Oh, and I think you all should go to Izumicon this November! It's an anime convention the first weekend of the month. I can't wait, it's my first anime convention, so this should be very interesting. I'm hoping to go to A-kon next year. Again, we'll see.

          So, that's my update kids. I'm sure I'm forgeting something somewhere, but that's life. Oh, and my parents anniversary is this Wednesday! I'm so proud of them... 25 yrs this year, I believe. Anyway, I love you all and can't wait to hear awesome updates. Talk to you soon!
